OCM Temorary Phone Difficulties
OCM is moving to a new location in Williamson Hall on Monday, Oct 15.
We may experience temporary computer, e-mail and phone outages during the move, and apologize if you are inconvenienced.

Faculty Help Available from OCM Rapid Response Team
OCM RAPID RESPONSE TEAM - READY TO HELP FACULTY AS SEMESTER STARTS!
During the first days of the semester, Office of Classroom Management
technicians will be pre-positioned on the East Bank, West Bank, and St.
Paul campuses from 8 AM to 4:00 PM to provide rapid in-classroom
assistance to faculty in general purpose classrooms.
Any faculty member requiring assistance should contact the Classroom
Support Hotline at 625-1086. The Classroom Hotline dispatcher is in
radio contact with the roving technicians from Classroom Technical
Services, and will expedite response to the request.

New Active Learning, Flexible Classroom Near Completion
OCM's new student centered, active learning, flexible classroom pilot
projects in EE/CSci 2260 on the East Bank and in BioSci 64 on the St
Paul campus are nearing completion.
Opportunities still exist for faculty to schedule courses in these new classrooms for Fall semester.
Instructors using these new classrooms will be able to participate in
faculty development and assessment programs with OCM's pilot project
partner, the Digital Media Center (DMC).

Important Notice of Telephone Outage
Starting Friday, May 25, 2007 at 6:00 PM and ending Saturday, May 26, at 6:00 PM.
As part of updating infrastructure and wiring for central telephone
services, NTS will be removing old wires and reconnecting them to new
infrastructure. All classroom telephones in the buildings listed below
will be out of service and will not have dial tone for the duration of
this project. Voicemail service will be available without interruption.
Telephones will automatically roll to the voice mail system and
messages can be left. Ethernet connections will not be affected.
The Classroom Support Hotline will not be affected by the outage and will remain in service.
Buildings affected by this outage:
Akerman, Architecture, Armory, Bell Museum, Civil Engineering, Church
Street Garage, Fieldhouse, Ford Hall, Klaeber Court, Lind, Mechanical
Engineering, Morrill Hall, Murphy, Nolte, Northrop, Physics, Pillsbury,
Shepherd Lab, Vincent, 4th St. Ramp, 1701, EECSci (partially).
